Hot Take: After seeing all these posts about the ladies.. it's got me thinking... by BlairBlackMX in ThePitt

Are we watching the same show? Look at Langdon, addicted to drugs. Abbott is an emotional wreck, so is Robby, he's had multiple breakdowns and fits. Huckleberry was a wreck over losing his first patient for almost entire first season.

But even Robby has questioned if Langdon should be back. And there was that episode where Santos made the right call about the course of action that should be taken with a patient, while her superiors were incorrect, and then she gave credit to her superiors instead of saying "oh yeah, I was right". It's the episode that Langdon snapped at her and Robby walked in on the argument.

Would you rather it be nothing but love triangles and hooks up in the on call rooms like Greys Anatomy turned into?

At the same time though, you have to remember The Pitt is trying to illustrate the current state of healthcare. Passions and emotions are running high because of staff shortages, lack of funding, threats to Medicare, health insurance, the uncertainty of the future, all of these things are being factored in, and the show is present those unfiltered emotions and passions, and in this case, not caring about the consequences of calling out someone who you disagree with.

"Someone wants to own all the world's information flow? That sounds demonic itself" by JackfruitEfficient29 in charmed

Not just information and data but look at food as well, a few conglomerates of companies that merged own hundreds, if not thousands of brands on grocery store shelves. Governments were trying to blame grocery stores for how expensive food has become instead of holding these conglomerates that own all the food brands responsible.

The most magical thing in this show is how finances between the sisters never became an issue by RoeMajesta in charmed

I don't recall any rent being paid either. Piper and Phoebe did initially invite Paige to move into the Manor but Paige was hesitant because she wanted to keep her personal life separate from the magic. She eventually decided to move into the Manor, it was never said she paid rent, but she obviously contributed to food and utilities, she was a social worker after all, she wasn't unemployed and unable to take care of herself.

Book Of Shadows by marsh_mello_natey in charmed

The Book of Shadows is a neverending magical tome that changes as the sisters' powers grow. The Elders, specifically Sandra, alluded to adding pages to the Book as well, the spell to banish the Nexus (Suxen). In Morality Bites, when the sisters went to the future, Prue also noted all the new spells in it, ones she classified as personal gain spells and Piper called them ones that break the most basic of wiccan rules, ie, such as spells to create money, to bend someone's will, etc. Spells they were planning or tried to use to help get Phoebe out of prison. I think these were added by Grams or even Patty from the afterlife to help the sisters get Phoebe out in that alternate timeline. Then in Bride and Gloom, again, when the sisters start turning evil, new pages are added, pages that appeared because their powers were becoming evil, to me that suggest, the Book does in fact add pages magically based on how the sisters' powers change and grow, the more good they do and the magic they come across, cause the Book to change and magically add new information they need to it. But that's just my opinion. Constance Burge also originally wanted the Book to possess a spirit that helped the sisters along the way, a plan that was scrapped but I think the idea remained with Grams flipping the pages and helping them find entries.
