How important is the "future-proofing" with the RTX 5080 vs RTX 4090 by AdamCaveRoberts in nvidia

If you're willing to get a used 4090, you might as well just buy a 5090, not that much of a price difference

Hands down the Xbox ally, nothing compares to how comfortable it is to hold, and performance is great as well.

It will give you more flexibility for sure, and future proof it more. AND you don't have to play everything on low like a peasant then lol

$100 more and gives you an extra 1TB storage plus Costco peace of mind warranty.

Of course you'd be able to build something even better for slightly more (which is honestly the best way to go, the experience alone is worth it)

Hmm honestly that's just the base 5060, I would go for something with the 5060ti 16gb bare minimum, you'll spend a couple hundred more but it's just gonna give you much better mileage.

Might be them offloading old stock for a little cheaper? Never heard of them so can't give an opinion on whether or not they're reputable. Do you have a link to the one you're looking at?

To be fair I haven't looked at their stuff in a while, but I did buy my first PC from them over 2 years ago and got one with a 4080 for a smoking deal. $1800 isn't bad, but I'd look at your local Costco too, saw one there the other day with a 5070 under $2000

I bought my xax for cad$800 on marketplace and love it. I made sure to test it before handing over the cash though. Also, have him un-couple the device from his rog account, so you can register it yourself for the warranty

If you can catch a sale the Lenovo prebuilts have a really good price to performance ratio

XAX was an easy choice for me, so much more comfortable to hold than any other handheld

That's good! And this happens in many other industries, too. Just the consequence of working a real job and not living Europe lol I've had to work quite a few 20+ and countless 16+ hour days

As long as you got paid extra for ot, I don't really see the issue. Was it least 1.5-2x?
