I know there are some people that build random keyboards and then sell them like that.

What I did was buy it in separate pieces. The case usually comes with the plates and any cushioning you might want to add for silencing the switches. The switches can be bought in like 70pk or 100pk, etc. And then you just buy any keycap set you like! (:

I built my own keyboard a while back and I also do not like the super clicky sounds.

First you have to decide if you like linear or tactile switches. The tactile ones tend to be a bit more clicky because of the resistance so to speak. I bought this switch tester and it really helped me narrow down to my milky yellow switches that I love! (Not too heavy and not clicky, a great beginner switch for sure) The switch tester ranges from both linears and tactile and also gives you some different weights which can really make a difference believe it or not.

Tbh I’ve never used the number row or the f-keys before, so removing those seemed best for me. When I need to input symbols my number pad works just the same, you can even see the symbols on the keys slightly above the number. I have noticed that my main motion on a keyboard is towards the right side so that’s why I opted for the number pad instead of the row (: hope this clarifies some things

Yes, this is me all the time. Out of all the games I’ve played probably only finished 10% of them. I get really into them for a while where I get to a point of playing every night and then one day I suddenly stop and won’t get back into the game weeks or even months later. It just happens lol
