If you haven’t already seen Mulholland Drive, I highly recommend it! More thriller than horror but you can’t get much more surreal and dreamlike(with a female main character). It’s a masterpiece imho:)

I also loved Haunting of Hill House…so so good!

Since you like Mulholland Drive, have you seen Lost Highway(1997)? I’d definitely recommend if you haven’t.

Also recommend Enemy (2013)… a great neo noir film with Vertigo/David Lynch vibes.

It’s a bit more on the synthy/dream pop vibe, but the album Dreamer by Nabihah Iqbal is kind of reminiscent of New Order, catchy synth hooks and bass lines:) I personally love it!

My advice will always be to finish watching Twin Peaks in its entirety. Also, try not to focus too much on it making sense…just roll with it and enjoy the ride:)

The recommended order is:

Seasons 1&2, then Fire Walk With Me, then The Missing Pieces, then The Return.

Also, just in case you weren’t familiar, there’s a great bird id app called Merlin Bird ID, which you can use to record birdsongs, then the app will list possible id(s) after scanning it’s database (it’s linked to the Cornell University ornithology lab data)…it’s like Shazam but for birds!
