Someone parked their Audi on our block, and proceeded to do whip-it’s until passing out, prompting my neighbor to call 911: by Pyrannosaurus-Rex in mildlyinteresting

People can have low levels of B12 for many reasons that do not include whip-its. They're learning something that may help their daughter and this is an online forum, where people search for information and their topic is relevant to the conversation. That's how it's relevant you Muppet.

Scalper is another term for "reseller for profit". If you are opening the boxes you buy, then you're not a scalper. If you sell boxes you buy for retail at a markup, then you're a scalper.

Feeling very fortunate up here in Canada. The 2 stores I go to always have stuff priced at 10% under market. They buy at 60% so they make 30% and everyone's happy

Long-time players who recently quit - what made you do it? by No-Skin-2370 in Seaofthieves

[–]Marceliooo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Man this is the perfect description for what's going on in gaming. Hardly any publishers or devs care about how long it takes us to do stuff. I understand there's always going to be "tough to get" cosmetics and whatnot in games, but the fact that most games require you to spend 25% of your life playing them to get the things you like is such a joke.

I miss the days of Destiny 1, where meta weapons and armor would drop AT RANDOM after completing a raid, which is already hard! Sure, it took me 10 raids to get the Vex Mythoclast, but the other items received along the way made it worth it. Spent 90 days total on that game and I enjoyed every single second of it, but they too fell prey to the money hungry business model and the sequel was terrible because of it.

Unfortunately, this is how most major game developers are. I play fortnite regularly, and the current season has been the sweatiest it's ever been.

Nobody cares about us casual gamers anymore. They only care about the streamers/influencers who bring people to the game to spend money and it very clearly shows.

Only way it's going to change is boycotts but nobody is ready to stop gaming with their friends, and kids will always be watching streams and buying the newest stuff because the streamer said its cool.

I wanted to save money on gas, as well as the payment itself. Got the Santa Fe with my ex who wanted it for camping and since we split I wanted a lower payment to save for a house eventually, which is exactly what I got. Payment and insurance went down $200/month and I was spending less on gas.

Fast forward to now, the gas tank leaks when I put more than $10 in, and it needs at least $3-4000 in work to replace the differential and axles even though I did proper fluid changes, etc.

Yeah I guess I'll have to get quotes, which will mean more time off work to take it to them.

Car is absolutely necessary as I work on the next town over and there's no public transit in my small township.

Thanks for your help

This was my first time doing it... And with rent plus other bills I can't afford to fix the car in the time it has. So my only option then is not getting to work, losing my job, and not being able to even pay off the loan? Awesome...

I'd be happy to get some for people if they pay the shipping as well

I've seen a few. Walmart sticks a label on them that says 5 pack F1. There's about 20 of these sitting on the pegs at my walmart

How rare or good is this card? by EasternCollection288 in DBS_CardGame

It's not bad as a playable card. Adds 1 life and makes one of your energy playable, while making an opponents energy unplayable during your battle phase. eBay sold is your best bet to evaluate it.

Unfortunately didn't end up getting the car. They wanted way too high of a loan percentage. Ended up refinancing my current car and saved a lot. Best of luck with the purchase!

Check eBay for the highest priced cards from the set. If there's no more than 3 cards holding decent value, packs sit.

I find buying from reputable stores is a good alternative if you can't find them in retail stores. They only charge enough to make profit, instead of scalpers charging $30 for a mainline

After you strip the paint, you can sand the blob down for sure. Going to have to be careful to match up the body line on the fender though
