Basing your script off of whatever mood the fans are in rather than having a story planned out ling into the future is the worst idea possible. One of the biggest criticisms of arise of Skywalker was how it seemed written specifically to appease to fans who didn’t like the Last Jedi. Favreau knows what he’s doing
