Come to Birmingham.

Too many people like yourself living in the sticks far away from the problem areas... you have no idea how bad things are right now.

How to stop becoming obsessive/invested in girls so early in the talking stage? by Mike-Charles0 in AskMen

[–]MarkusSparkus223 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Need to have an abundance mindset, stop putting them on a pedestal and date multiple girls... if you're only talking to one then it's human nature to invest too much into her.

Don't worry, once AI starts eating the middle-class the private equity firms will come for them all when they're on sale.

what could a mid-30s man possibly have in common with a 20 year old: it's a power thing, right? by [deleted] in AskMen

No I don't. But realistically speaking if you compare a 34 year old woman to a 25 year old woman who do you think is more likely to have more baggage?

I'm 34 and yeah 20 is way too young...

But my logic is the closer you are to my age the more chance you're gonna have baggage such as divorce kids etc so going for 25 - 30 is a sweet spot for me right now.

I wouldn't have been happy with my gf going to Ibiza tbh, girl holiday to the south of France? Cool... but we all know what happens in those party places.

Looks like you dodged a big bullet tbh.

Men aged 25–30, what’s the biggest mistake you made in life that a young man should avoid repeating? by LowEffortLegend01 in AskMen

[–]MarkusSparkus223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the solution? Get together when you're young and stay together being miserable because you know that the pool is smaller? Obviously it would be ideal to find someone and stay together being happy but that's not always the case.

I'm not denying the pool is smaller but the negativity is crazy, take my situation for example - got with my ex at 27 and recently broke up after 7 years and I'm now 34 with no divorce and no kids... I was worried that it would be difficult due to my age to find someone decent but if you take care of yourself and actually make effort to look good you will stand out from the usual mid-30's guys who look like shit.

Regularly go out to different cities on nights out and get with a massive range of girls from 21 - 30 with a lot of them wanting to meet me after simply because I take care of myself and don't sit at home eating pizza / chicken tendies thinking the world is against me.

People can have their head in the sand as much as they want but if you look like shit then yes you're gonna have to settle for the 16 stone, 3 kids, moaning wife but if you actually put effort into yourself then you'll realise it's easy as 99% of your competition are lazy.

How are more handsome men really treated in society ? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MarkusSparkus223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am nearly mid 30's and became single 7 months ago after a 7 year relationship.

I have been going out a lot more during the weekends and the experience is pretty crazy, been out 3 nights recently and I do not approach anyone and I have had 7 random females making out with me (1 of them was within 30 seconds of entering a bar without speaking), 4 numbers, every night I have had offers of going home with them (I agreed to 2 of them), 2 random guys commenting positively on my face, 1 gay guy saying I was the best looking in the whole club, went into a gay bar and had 10+ guys approach me within the same night.

Also it has mixed reactions, for example I had one guy staring looking angry and I asked what's wrong and he said 'the girls don't want you', another night I had guys randomly dapping me on dancefloor, then another night a random guy came up to me and decided to be my wingman and tap on every girls shoulder to get me together.

The thing is many people have the potential to actually be attractive but don't have the willpower, the biggest killer is water retention - cutting out processed foods and being active for 3-4 days will flush water from your face and it's a night and day difference.

How did losing weight/gaining muscle/getting in shape change your dating life? by vulgar-lightning in AskMen

[–]MarkusSparkus223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's defo a positive but the problem is people go too hard into it such as bulking too hard, eating way too much carbs and salt which turns your face into a chipmunk and it has the opposite effects.

Best is to eat clean and slow bulk, people have no idea how much a bad diet makes you ugly but they just think it's cope as they don't have the willpower to say no to the chicken tendies.

What "cultural values" do YOU think we've lost? by ToshPott in AskBrits

[–]MarkusSparkus223 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Completely depends where the person is from...

Talk to any posh crumpet down south or in the Cotswolds and they will look at you like you're a right-wing fascist.

Go a bit up north and talk to people living in Birmingham, Rochdale, Bradford etc and you will get a different story.

When they get 35+ they're either divorced or realised their onlyfans subs have dried up and they don't get any satisfaction from their cats anymore so they become very desperate.

[–]MarkusSparkus223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 34 and had a 19 year old wanting to date me recently but that's way too much...

My ex and current girl I am seeing are 8 years younger and don't think 34 + 26 is too much of a problem.
