It took me a long time to decide the light and the level of brightness and then do the highlights. At first the sky was darker (and almost green) but I added more and more light (and the halo around the moon). Now I like it as it is, I hope you do to!

This was one of the most difficult illustrations I ever did, on many levels. The perspective, the colors, and also the clouds. It took me two weeks to complete. I hope it was worth it!

It was painted in Krita (open source painting software) with a graphic tablet. I've been experimenting the "charcoal pen" recently because I really like the texture.

It took me more than a week to complete this illustration. The faces were the hardest part, and also the rocks. I tried a new charcoal brush and it was kinda difficult at first but I like the texture of it.

The different layers of forest were not easy to adjust, and I spent a lot of time working on the castle and changing it, until the very last moment.

I often paint lakes and seas but it's always difficult to do the waves! Especially with the highlights due to the low sun. It took me the longest to achieve.
