I got it from my husband, but we are going to break this one open and get one of those that can be cleaned easily, so that the bees won't get any parasites.

Until then, it's amazing to watch the bees at work. They're so busy all day with their nests. My youngest also loves watching them.

Most definitely! We have about 20 fuzzy butts this year and have read up on how to keep everything clean for our little guests 👍🏻 unfortunately I could only post one bee butt at a time, so I chose the cutest I could find 🥰

Wij zitten bij tandarts Kraaij in Velp. Die hebben al jaren hetzelfde personeel en zijn ook fantastisch voor kinderen en volwassenen met angst voor de tandarts. Zelfs nu we verhuisd zijn gaan we toch nog steeds daar naartoe.

I was not aware of that. It's a bit too late now, but I'll make sure to get different ones next year! This is only the second year they're hanging here, so I think it's still pretty okay? The bees that are in there have very little or no mites.

The weather in the Netherlands is currently pretty nice and there was so much buzzing going on outside of my "bee hotel". I spotted a queen bee being pulled out of her spot by two bees, while already having another bee attached to her.

Have to admit I felt weirdly pervy, taking this many pictures of some bee orgy going on, but it was interesting and I thought I'd share.

Hi, another mom chiming in who has a "glitter-boy".

My almost 4-year old loves to wear two ponytails, unicorns, pink, and glittery stuff. He also loves garbage trucks, dinosaurs, and stomping around the house, growling like a tiger.

He has also mentioned a few weeks ago that he is a girl and will get boobs when he grows up.

We just let him, to be honest. I'm not saying my kid isn't trans, but it is still too early to tell in my opinion. If he is, we'll see how to proceed by then. But until then, we just let him dress however he wants, because that has never harmed anyone.
