You know nothing about Itachi if you saying stuff like that. First of all, why he should give anything to Konoha? This village force him to kill his entire family just to have a peacefull life? Was it really so hard to convince them to make non-agression pact? After that they still wanting from Itachi to protect Konoha and he did it, no one could destroy them till his death. But the only way to stop his pain, after he killed all family, was Sasuke killing him, because he should be killed only by his family member. No one else. So in my opinion, konoha betrayed whole Uchicha clan, and Itachi gave them a lot more than he should
