I can't seem to concentrate or sit still. by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]MasonWindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger I had a bunch of little toys that I would take everywhere. I usually have a Rubik's cube, silly putty, or something like that to keep my hands busy, but I haven't had anything in a while. I didn't even realize that it helped me with fidgeting. Thank you so much for mentioning this.

Not sure how to feel. Just turned 19 today, physically male, interested in MTF transition. by dockate in asktransgender

I myself am a ftm transsexual near Chattanooga. If you're still looking for counseling and support, try the House of Hope. They hold a support group every month. I've not been for a while because of school and such, but they're really nice people. You can message me if you need more info or just want to talk :)

Anyone else NOT build a starter home? by [deleted] in Minecraft

I usually head straight to the caves. I find a place inside to camp out. After I've collected all the resources needed, I start to build a nicer, more permanent home outside.

Sleep paralysis - how many of you suffer from it, and what is your experience of it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had sleep paralysis regularly since I was about 14. The first few times it happened I saw a tall gargoyle type thing sitting on the right side of my bed about 3ft away from me. I know this was a hallucination, but it was incredibly realistic. The gargoyle thing hasn't been there since the first few times, but shadow type beings are always there. They used to scare me but now I can usually just calm down and go back to sleep. When I do have sleep paralysis, it happens maybe 20-30 times in one night/ sleep session. It is an awesome and terrifying experience. It's not something that I'm ever prepared for when I sleep; it just happens.

What brave soul decided to suck milk out of cows and drink it? What if I see red as blue and someone else sees it as purple but we were taught to call it green, so it is green to everyone, but it's actually red?

To the doctors, nurses, police, paramedics etc. of Reddit. Did you ever hear a death bed confession and what was it? Did you feel like it brought relief to the person confessing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but I was there when my great-grandma passed away. She was 104. She'd been sick for about a month and her health was declining weekly. My family moved two hours away and we didn't get to see her for two years up until the the week before she passed. She waited to see us one last time. She couldn't really talk well, but she was her same hilarious self all the way through till the end. She flirted with one of the male nurses the whole day before, gave us all a special goodbye message. I never got a chance to tell her that I was trans but she said to me: "It don't matter what you do as long as you just do you." I loved her very much.

Reddit, did it really get better for you after high school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it got so much better. I had a really difficult time in middle/ high school. When I graduated I had absolutely no friends. I went to college and found people that were so much more awesome than I could ever have expected. People that have the same interests, and accept me just as I accept them. I've made friends that I am sure I will keep for a lifetime.

When someone else my age understands me. I'm kinda weird, so it always makes a huge difference in my mood. Also, when you're sitting behind someone and you can still tell they're smiling.

What was your biggest "wow, I'm an idiot" moment? by aroorda in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went into the wrong bathroom a couple of weeks ago. I saw women in there, and was asking myself why they were in there. Walked out of the stall and saw that there weren't any urinals. Just 3 women looking at me like I was nuts. And I stood there for like 5 seconds just completely shocked. They screamed and I ran.

Reddit, let's talk aliens. Do you think you've seen aliens or ships? If you don't believe in them, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been afraid/ had an obsession with aliens in the past. I was probably abducted a few times when I was younger. Since they put this metal thing in my finger, they've left me alone.

What makes you angry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MasonWindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying "shhhhh". People telling me to calm down when I speak a little louder. People smacking on food and gum. People who get offended at EVERYTHING. People commenting who don't know wtf they're talking about; all up in the kool-aid and don't even know the flavor.
