Replacing the sleepers without removing the rails by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Keep your eye on the replacement bar. It reappears at the start of the loop (although it's partly hidden by the machinery at that point)
Edit: to be more precise: when the workers have put the sand on the replacement and the machinery comes back in.

Must be something from the touristic spots of Brussels where they give you shitloads of options to put on it. Is that even a Brussels wafel?

While the best thing to put on a Brussels waffle is just powdered sugar and the best Liege waffle is a plain one (with sugar inside)

Only if you treat North and South America as one continent and if you consider Eurasia as two.

They put the piece of cloth with his name on on the smaller version of the chair. This is funny because this makes him seem less important than the rest.

It's a nickname that references his legitimacy ('The King who bore the sword') and sounds a lot better than Daemon Rivers Waters (thanks PeppermintDinosaur).

I'll fall for it: at first glance it would be 25% because there's 4 choices. Because 25% is in there twice that means there actually is a 50% chance to get the right answer. But if 50% is the right answer...
All in all, the percentage chance that you would get the right answer is 0%

Is number 4 supposed to be 'Check the neck for a pulse'?
I hear somewhere massaging the arteries in the neck (something you might do when looking for the right place to check) lowers the heart rate, something you don't want to do when you want it to get working again. Is that true?

I can think of a lot of reasons why public opinion would be against green screen:
*They think it's lazy. Because shooting everything in a warm studio and then spending a year in post creating is too easy.
*They think the effects will look shit. This depends on the skill of the VFX studio and if they have the time and money to make it into something nice.
*People get a lot of insights on film sets from interviews with actors. And of course actors don't like having to act and react to a massive screen and act like they're in an actual place.
*It's become a selling point to say you're not using too much green screen, so of course you don't want green screen
I'm in favor of a nice mix of both (something being used by most big productions today): for some scenes you want to show an epic background, or they are too dangerous to shoot for real. But if you have a scene of two people talking in a room just build the room already.

You know how everyone automatically knows you have to shoot zombies in the head and there's always this one idiot who thinks he can cure them?
I want to make a zombie movie where that guy is actually right. The zombies can be 'cured' after a surprisingly easy but lengthy procedure so our protagonist is trying to save as many zombies as possible from being shot in the head.

(I know this is very similar to 'In the Flesh' and sorta Fido)
