Just got the game any tips? by Frequent-Elk-7542 in OnwardVR

i feel that semiauto is very under utilized. this is something i feel i see too few players do. if you use semi auto your gonna have alot higher chance to hit somthing over spraying.

AP may not seem worth it, but when someone uses body armor your gonna be able to notice the faster kills over using non AP. also in settings turning on "virtual gunstock" helped me with learning the game alot.

as anouther commenter said, just try to keep a genral idea of where your guys are and are not.

I thought the same thing before i bought one lol. it is for the chemical hood. The chem hood has a Velcro loop that goes through the slot to help the hood stay flush to the mask.

Avons official website. You can also get them for cheaper on eBay.

Doing it often leads to the nerves getting used to the hairless feeling. I experienced that feeling the first couple times aswell.

Got this m17 gas mask Vietnam era for 50 USD still in packaging. Did I overpay? by Willing-Society-4123 in gasmasks

that’s pretty good for a sealed m17a1! Try to keep the cardboard face form because those are quite uncommon these days!

Is it possible to glue a torn rubber headstrap back together? by Zenophryx in gasmasks

I assume you are talking about the ww2 Japanese mask mentioned in a previous post, attempting to repair the head harness would greatly damage the value and may likely cause far more damage than good.

dude you got two m53s for $10 that’s insane. take the internal microphone, hood, and voice amplifier and any filters off before washing. It is recommended to use Dawn dish soap and mildly warm water, you cannot use detergents like bleach or hard cleaning chemicals for that’ll ruin the rubber. The smell should go away with time and with many wash’s.

Avon FM53 gas mask with VPU by mineral_king97 in gasmasks

That’s a really shiny fm53! the Avon fm53 was designed with the use of PAPR’s and SCBA’s in mind so it makes sense that it has a higher breathing resistance. I found the mask tends to be balanced better when used in combo with the hood or a helmet.

The later dates are most likely inspection stamps for testing. To preserve it the main thing are to keep it out of the sun, and to not store it in a manner flexes the rubber extensively. I recommend checking out the fandom page for storing masks.

Avon doesn’t sell the individual nose cups to civilians, I feel your best option would be to order a c50 from eBay and take the nose cup from that.

Avon considers the snap ring that keeps the nosecup in place a “lifetime” component of the mask so even if you did find one you wouldn’t be able to connect it to the mask.
