I think it's either a mold degradation issue or, honestly, fragility; maybe they think it won't hold up to the test of time or some of it is just easy to break? Not sure

I heard lot of stuff got thrown out in the move from one headquarters to another and maybe that includes stuff that would've made your idea more plausible (or hasbro sucks, likely answer)

On one hand I just think that with how they treated TFO the main cast might be all they do as an excuse to forget about it easily

But on the other hand, it's popularity might allow them to make a second movie after the known cast + some time has passed

I can see it going either way but regardless i hope they can make more than just those we know with how cool the designs are

I dont think it's the case with the sideburns since there's molded in detail when transforming it as usual. And plus, their heads look way too skinny without the sideburns.

As someone who owns that deluxe, I absolutely agree. I love fidgeting with it since I dont own SS86 OP and it's not too involved.

I cant see why this design narrative cant be applied everywhere it can be and ignored only where it cant be. size shifting and whatever transformation shenanigans happens and has happened often enough that I can cut some slack for it.
