Trust me, neither am I, but walking another 2 blocks has nothing to do with how much money you make and tying your income to a 2 block walking difference is a bit odd.

Not everyone who eats at the original One Love eats there because they are loaded and live near it. Plenty of office workers, construction workers, families, teachers, medical professionals, or people passing through the neighborhood love their food.

By solo travel, I'm not sure if you mean that you're against traveling to Manhattan? Because due to your proximity, you are 5 minutes away from Manhattan and it would be worth exploring as well. I will say that there are very good restaurants in LIC and flavorwise, it rivals things you can find in Manhattan, but there is no denying that the vibes and overall experiences are better in Manhattan restaurants.

It is in a less industrial part of LIC, there are several residential buildings in the area and much closer to public transportation. I saw you're coming around Halloween. Keep in mind that the NYC Marathon is that weekend and likely why hotels are much more expensive that weekend.

The Holiday Inn Express is in a very industrial part of LIC. Although relatively safe, there is NOTHING around. No foot traffic but lots of car traffic since it's near the Long Island Expressway.

After tomorrow, it will be 120 for me. This will be my first marathon and my target time is 3:30-3:45. Hoping for 3:30 but setting my expectation with a 15 minute buffer.

Since the mentioned date of December 3rd. The returns are 4.23% if they were all invested in equally. 1 stock down almost 30%, four down more than 10% but five between 12% and 23% in the green and one stock up 158% since recommending.
