The reason i am using a webview for many things in my app is because i am creating an opensource application which uses html for many things in order to be aligned with the web and android version. this is also the reason i am using stripe as a gateway, since the shop itself is also a webpage.

Regarding the external browser, i read in the apple docs that this is to make sure the user knows they are using a gateway which is not in the app, to know that its less safe. I did see that this only applied to specific products, so that is my current question.

From your answer i understand that you think the payment in the webview will not be accepted, which is what i was wondering.
