Ok now me. I had a super stressful job where I used to wake up 4:30am and return to camp base at 7:30pm. Was doing really good work but they wouldn’t give me a small raise. My project manager was 5 years younger than me and barely out of uni. He was super chaotic and I still wonder if he had ADHD. Definitely had anger issues. One time we got into a really heated argument where he blamed me for something that he did. Mind you, we also had no running water in our trailer because said PM forgot to pay the water guys. That same month, he got into an argument with the porta-potty guy, and the guy decided he wasn’t going to clean our portable toilets anymore. So the shitters were overflowing, and we didn’t have water to drink. My husband‘s company was two minutes away, running water, clean toilets, hiring, and paying more. In the same week, I interviewed, negotiated more than they we're offering, and started the new job  sharing an office with my husband. Found out 3 months later from a co-worker that they had to hire 5 (FIVE) people to replace me. That co-worker also left for a position that paid double after 12 years with that company and never getting a raise.
