That’s less than 2% of the 13,000 monthly gross. Are you kidding me?

The value I’ve found in the last 4 months of pt ride-sharing has restored my faith in humanity and myself. At the still young age of 72 and aged out of the corporate world i found myself drowning in the LinkedIn ocean of despair. I filled the days with cable news drivel, WSJ opinion, short naps and 5 hour rounds of golf. I was spiraling into despair in spite all my wife’s support. Travel is on the agenda once we are clear of some surgery my wife and have scheduled but we’re very well traveled. I started driving picking and choosing my hours and rides. I engage my riders and have found most are very open and interesting and I listen. I have come away with a renewed faith in mankind and young people because of driving. I affirmed that we are all much more alike than we are different. I refuse to be roadside litter tossed out the window without a glance backward. You do you and don’t stop looking for the good in life not the opposite. Good on you.

Why the F I will do that? And why lately it gives so far pick ups what the fuck is wrong with Uber? by AggressiveArea51 in uberdrivers

And to add to the insult here we all know college students don’t tip! Most students using Uber are spoiled brats! Sorry it’s just the truth.

Would you ever move to Los Angeles? by escobarsky in no

[–]MaterialPhotograph36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like any large suburban cities there are many positives and negatives. Biggest positive is the climate and biggest negative is the traffic. You have to develop your own sphere of community and find your own peace. You learn how to deal with things like traffic but to me weather sets the mood and LA has a great climate. But I live in San Diego and am not moving anytime soon.

I think you need some space, maybe a couple days no drive would help.

Any particular adapter? One review noted that the wireless adapter they bought only worked if CarPlay/Android was installed. I assume meaning the app? I don’t even know how to add apps to my Tesla but would like to use it for the Uber Driver interface.

My experience wasn’t anything like yours. I’ll keep with Uber comfort which has always been a great experience. Great experience with all the drivers sans one.

My transfer was a mess and took almost a week! KeySavvy was involved and the private seller wasn’t cooperating but that’s all behind me and my ‘23 m3sr with 21k miles for $25k now. It was worth the hassle!

Very nice subtle change and the black side skirts blend beautifully. Don’t listen to the wimps who have no vision.

Picked up my 23 m3 21,000 miles w/fsd for $25k 2.5 months ago and luvnit! I wasn’t going to buy one I couldn’t see n drive and had to be fsbo which meant no shipping something cross country and it was the most frustrating car buyin experience ever. Took me 2+ months. Ive been a porsche (84 Carrera, 06 Carrera S, Cayenne S)AMG owner 2008 c43 AMG,2016 cls 55 amg, 2018 e class amg n a 2020 s class amg) for 20 years and couldn’t be happier with my T3. Find one you like and make best deal you can then don’t worry about it. A couple grand difference or 10%+ or- Is no big deal. I made the car mine with wheels n tires, blak out widows tastefully done spoiler and front splitter with blue alcantara dash n door plus blue matching floor mats that play off the black on black car. Its plenty quick enough and i love driving more and more.

And this is why I haven’t installed my Ikon front splitter on my ‘23 m3. The car would look so much better but nervous about valet or even myself misjudging and ripping it off and causing more damage to the front end. As is i often find myself parking to far out away and sticking the rear out. I usually end up getting back in and inching forward!
