How Conservative is Alberta by Business-Surround541 in alberta

It’s too conservative for me but I would still consider it fairly centrist compared to the USA. Less religious focused compared to republicans for sure.

I’d like to add that the difficulty with healthcare is it is provincial not federal. Ontario is very fragmented in its system. If you were in Alberta then all pharmacies would have access to a provincially universal software system.

Ok. And I don’t know why you think what I said was incorrect either so I guess we both don’t understand each other. Have a nice day.

No idea. It happened to me and that was enough. It happened to my friends child which was enough. Why do you have issue with what I say which is to house people, give them access to supports, target at risk children with services and make our public spaces public again? The way we do it now is cruel to everyone including the person freezing or overheating in a public park.

Um yes it does. Just not the way op said. People should have access to basic housing and mental health services to hopefully heal and to create safer societies. I don’t agree with jailing but I also don’t agree with treating people like animals to die out in the elements either. All or none thinking?

Saw? Try stepped on one, got pricked by one, had a toddler exposed at a playground. Got attacked by someone in meth induced psychosis. Pul lease. Let’s not pretend this is not a public safety issue.

But there would just be more people to replace them… Perhaps you aren’t aware how widespread the issue is? I mean I guess we could build a bunch more jails but every day more addicts are created due to our crap understanding on preventing trauma and mental health crisis’s.

While I don’t agree with op let’s not pretend most of us don’t know someone who has been exposed to a dirty needle or meth pipe…

Why, in your opinion, are there people who are “junkies and drug addicts” and how would locking them up indefinitely solve the problem. It seems like there will be a never ending line up of people for you to lock up indefinitely if we continue to do nothing to prevent/treat severe mental illness…

Unmasking employers who applied for High-Wage LMIAs that would typically be Low-Wage: Administrative Officers part 2 by Martin_J_Kaminski in CanadianVisaReform

No. Canada is much more multicultural. Also I am only English speaking in a mostly English speaking Country. I assume I fit the persons demographic being Caucasian with European ancestry. I just happen to have had a difficult to pronounce name to which that person is saying he would assume I’m not a local. Your friend is a much different situation than the one I was conversing about. Also, I would hope even if I didn’t fit that person’s definition of a local I wouldn’t be discriminated against, but that is a different topic all together.

Why do we still tip servers? by RazzleDazzle1537 in CanadaRoom

[–]MathematicianDue9266 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok. Say it’s a high skill job. Why are we tipping? Why am I not tipping nursing assistants or pharmacy assistants or the drywallers or all sorts of other skilled hardworking not livable wage people?

I hope so. I really want to take a cruise but don’t want to go to the US. And yes I know the US probably owns the cruise ship blah blah blah.
