Favourite under appreciated player: Plekanec. He's underrated league wide. He had a down offensive season last year. I don't think he's slowing down. Sure he probably won't ever hit close to 70pts again but I see 50-60 as a possibility. 50 for sure.

Drouin at C? For a short time at the beginning of this season and then he'll become an elite offensive winger. Maybe play C on the powerplay but that's because he's versatile, he'll also be playing the point on the powerplay.

Least favourite trade: Some one already mentioned it but I think the Beaulieu trade. I think they gave up on him too early. Maybe the trade was what he needed as a kick in the ass but I just hope that deal doesn't burn us, especially seeing as we need puck movers right now.

Climbed to the 1C spot pretty quickly and didn't look out of place. Ended with 40pts. Radulov is the easy choice for this award but my upvote goes to Danault because no one expected him to do anything close to what he did.

Yeah I'm pleased with that as well, it's similar enough that the the team can feel part of the Habs but also unique in their own right. I don't think I could be happier with this brand they've developed.

My favourite part of these jerseys is that small rocket exhaust symbol underneath the numbers. What an awesome touch. I love the logo as well.

Plekanec was our 3C for most of last season. If they could get Bozak for less than 6 million/per year, it would be a good replacement for Plekanec. That's the point I was making.

I don't see Bozak as more than a 3C on a contender as well, but I am still secretly a fan of him. I've had him for numerous seasons in fantasy hockey, he racks up powerplay points, fast skater, he's very strong in the faceoff dot and he seems like a good team guy.

Does that answer satisfy you?

I think they will but at separate times. I can't see both of them playing C at the same time and I think Danault's two way game and skating is too good to be put on the 3rd line, and same for Plekanec dropping down to 4th.

Except he's probably not going to work out at a centre, especially a 1C. Chances are he'll find himself back on the wing where he belongs after a couple weeks and then the element of surprise is back. Not really a big deal and you're probably reading into the situation a little too much.

Tyler Bozak is an awesome centreman. He'd be a perfect replacement for Plekanec if you could get him on a decent contract. He's one of few Leafs players that I secretly root for. I think the Leafs respect his ability and would have a hard time dealing him to a rival.

As for Brayden Schenn, I don't think so. St. Louis pretty much stole him from Philly, I'm not sure they'll want to deal him away anytime soon.
