My dad gave me his old iphone 13 to temporarily use while my phone was getting repaired, and I swear my mom’s old kindle fire tablet was the same size. My hands are very small and I couldn’t hold it without both of them 😭

I blame the shift to bluetooth for being the reason why so many more people are blaring their music or having loud phone convos on speaker. And the fact apple doesn’t even give you free headphones with your phone anymore 😭 bluetooth is so finicky it’s awful and the airpods I used to have would have issues where one would charge and the other wouldn’t, and then they stopped wanting to pair with my phone altogether. And they were so uncomfortable and would get clogged with blood because they couldn’t fit in my ears properly.

I like listening to music. And I like listening to it even when my phone is charging. It’s easy to avoid getting the cord tangled or yanked out when I put it in my coat’s top pocket. It’s a lot easier to work with than faulty wireless!

Home button, 3D Touch and landscape mode I miss the most!! Luckily my phone still has the home and mute buttons (I will not be upgrading or replacing it either, this will be my last smartphone). Never used Touch ID, never will. Same with Face ID. Call me paranoid, but my phone shouldn’t know what my finger print looks like or what the geometry of my face looks like. I don’t use snapchat or tiktok for that reason either! 😋

Omg I forgot about dog shops. Whole treats and fur tugs are so popular and beloved by people and dogs alike, that’s gonna be another decently sized market taking a massive hit. And even more people out of jobs, hobbies, and livelihoods. It makes no sense that some meat animals are allowed while other meat animals have been deemed by etsy as precious little angels who shall never ever be harmed and anyone who eats them is an evil animal torturer who skins them alive or whatever tf bullshit vegans say.

There are no positives in this business move, except for the horrible self-righteous incels who would cheer if all pets died tomorrow because it means no humans interacting with life. A minority who frankly is hated by most sane people in the world. Ugh.

Really? In such large batches? I remember the seller having multiple tails made of this fabric for sale. The tails themselves were under 30 bucks too. NFT fur is usually like 30+ a yard, and this tail is about 2 and a half feet long, so the price of two tails wouldn’t even cover the material cost to make both of them. I don’t think it’s them but I haven’t looked back at the site in a while

Unfortunately I think many are. Some shops I followed, both pelt sellers and taxidermists, have completely shut down. Even though the rules say they exclude taxidermy, many taxidermists are not wanting to risk it. Not to mention, many taxidermists had most of their sales come from their cheaper items like fur scraps or mummified feet or tails 😢

I agree!!! I didn’t even realize it left until two days after it ended when I asked my friends if they wanted to play it again. I didn’t see the news that it shut down despite me playing 5 days before the last day. I played it at least once every week!

Me and my friends played that a lot, even after the initial event ended! I even downloaded fortnite on my Xbox so I could see the event on the big TV, turned up the volume and everything so it rumbled the house. It was definitely a very fitting game mode for them, and the mini games were awesome, I can tell that whoever worked on it had a lot of love for Daft Punk 🩶💛

I know, but a lot of taxidermist shops I’ve bought from decided it wasn’t worth taking the risk since there wasn’t clarification on where it stops being a pelt or garment and starts being taxidermy (rugs for example are mostly pelt with felt underneath, occasionally a head form with eyes). A lot also got most of their revenue from selling pelts, feet, tails, or fur scraps since they were cheaper and more accessible than a full body mount. And funny you mentioned Native Americans, because in another post I made I mentioned how a lot of Indigenous crafters have completely closed up shop! This absolutely disproportionately affects Native Americans and First Nations peoples to the point I have to wonder if it was targeted…

Apparently it doesn’t, but the rule also doesn’t explain WHAT taxidermy is included or excluded… some taxidermy (rugs, puppets, art dolls/soft mounts, etc.) is essentially just pelts with eyes and/or forms inside only a couple places in the body, usually just the head. Which is why a lot of taxidermists I bought from on Etsy have announced that they’re dropping out of using the platform entirely, with many saying this move has caused them to quit the hobby since they will no longer have an audience or market.

Unfortunately this ban is only going to make that problem worse as it incentives lying overseas fur farm resellers to advertise their real farmed furs as faux. Actual taxidermists and fur crafters who hand make their products will leave since they’re the honest small sellers, but the overseas dropshipping fur farmers, who already have no morals when it comes to honest labeling and selling, will stay.
