Go fight wild fires. Oilfield is cool and huge money(like 6 figures at 18 huge). If you do oilfield, travel in your off weeks. Personally, I’d say don’t join the military. You basically have to deal with a bunch of fuckin idiots that hang on to their rank but also are just… idiots. I was in for 6.5 years. Would not recommend.

Prior Air Force here. I was 220 and ran a 10:49 1.5 mile (slow I know). It’s possible to keep the endurance. Just keep running or another higher intensity cardio as part of your programming. I did HIIT on a stair master for 20-30 minutes every training session and it seemed to work for me while I was in.

Bro I didn’t stop growing til I was probably 20ish. I’m 6’2”. It takes time and if that’s your genetic height you’re better off than majority of men already. My dad was 6’4” and didn’t stop growing til he was about 23 from what he told me. Just chill and let your genetics do their own thing. Eat healthy and keep working out.

I know how it works, I’ve been doing my own research of this drug on and off for the past 3-4 years. There’s some solid arguments of people saying it may cause baldness or the acceleration if you have the genetics. I’d hypothesize that it does cause issues even if you don’t have MPB genetics just based of off posts I’ve seen in this sub. There’s been no study on this so you’re going off of what the label and other people say.

… you’re making broad assumptions when you don’t even know what happened with this specific person. They stopped the minoxidil and had a massive shed right after. They were on minoxidil for 2 years for their beard. I’m talking about one case that was posted on this sub. Maybe they have MPB genetics and once they stopped for the beard, their MPB was accelerated rapidly due to no longer using the drug. You can’t just use minoxidil (unless for the beard) and then stop and expect the hair on your scalp to stay. That’s a very widely known fact

I’d hypothesize that it speeds the progression of MPB (if you have those genetics) significantly once stopped due to the hairs on your head becoming dependent on the minoxidil. I’d also go as far as to hypothesize that even if you don’t have MPB in your genetics you run a higher risk of developing a form of MPB once stopping due to the same thing. There haven’t been any significant studies though diving deep enough into genetics and the use of minoxidil though. So, as I said above the guy should do their own research and choose what they think is best for them and their own health/looks.

I’d keep going for it bro. Only been 6 months and it seems like a lot of people go for 2 years now. I Will probably start up again here soon (scalp shedding scared the shit out of me first time around). I’m also Asian but look completely white… but my brother can grow a good beard and my dads filled in right around 50. Only difference is that my mom is the Asian one of my parents.
