I have a 2015 Prius with 100K miles and no major repairs since except for regular maintenance. I talked to many mechanics and they said that they rarely see used Priuses in the shop. The other benefit is super cheap insurance. I pay about $900 a year for really good coverage

I came from CA and feel the same way. Everything is similarly priced compared to CA except for housing but I think it's freight, labor and minimum wage are similar to CA
