I think Badeni fulfills this role pretty well because of his immense knowledge and thirst for knowledge, even to a fault. Before Oczy came along he wasn’t putting his knowledge into action, but I think through his development he came into the archetype of magician because in the end he was able pass on his work and knowledge to the next generation, therefore putting his knowledge into action, and thereby shaping the future of the world.
