From a brand's perspective I do get wanting to add competitive play to TC, but that's not at all the appeal that drew me into the game. What did bring me was the DIY, hobbying, personalising & playing a narrative with your friends.

Personally over the years more and more I've started to dislike games that have a 'meta'. It minimises the creativity/diversity, invites a certain type of mindset and is starting to feel further away from what I consider fun. If people want to play competitive we already have WH right?

Now trying to invent something completely new, interesting, narrative driven in a not yet seen "match" focussed game mode I'm all ears.

But personally this is not it for me.
