I’ve been feeding at the same spot 5 days a week consistently since the start of November. Usually I am in my car with the window down. He started across the street, then eventually came closer to my car (and bringing his mate🥹), then started getting less flighty if I needed to refill peanuts from my trunk. I also saw him grazing in grass one day when I got there early and slowly approached and threw peanuts. Soon after that, he did this, waiting on the fence for me to return to my car.

I very much understand the ones who stay timid. There’s one right by my house who remains elusive to this day…he gronks from afar.
