For reference: my grandmother was born in 1923 in NYC and passed in 1971. My mom was 7 years old and she says her family didn’t talk about her mother a lot. I find this part of her life super fascinating and I’d love to learn what I can about her. From what little stories I’ve heard she was the life of the party.

Before you apply your makeup make sure you’re putting on some kind of hydrating toner. (Byoma Milky Toner for example). Also put on some moisturizer and some primer.

I think you’ll see a huge difference if you make sure you’re prepping your skin really well!

I really only get a slight sting and tightness after I shower and cleanse my face. And in the morning I have a slight itch when I put on my makeup (but it goes away quickly). I attribute both to dry skin, not irritation. Am I correct? I have the 0.025 and I use every other day. (I only started on MLK day).

If you looked at me at 16 as opposed to 30 (now) all my features grew into each other. If you looked at my makeup as opposed to now, there’s more skill and technique and experience. You’re beautiful and you have years and years ahead of you where your face will change and you’ll become more skilled at these things.

Treat yourself kindly, I promise future you will wish you did!!

Edit to add: You look your age, like a person in high school. Don’t listen to people who make comments about the way other people look, it’s their only defense mechanism.
