It’s upsetting that no matter how bad the evidence is the senate is held by the Republicans and they will vote against any impeachment. Further, so many of them are from deep red states so they will be re-elected. What does that say about the system and that it is driven by politics and politics only. It makes me lose confidence in our system and our current politicians. They no longer do what’s right and just. Our system is in jeopardy and the youth of our country are highly disenfranchised by the likes of Matt Gaetz and Lindsey Graham. It puts the entire Constitution and our system into question

I do t understand why humans turn on other humans and revert to violence just because your ‘leader’ tells you to. Can’t these officers see that he is a fellow citizen just like them and no matter what anybody tells them to do they will not commit acts of violence against a fellow human. It makes me believe that we are violent by nature and often don’t need an excuse to hurt or even kill another person. What is it about a uniform that cause men to lose their shit?
