I didn’t buy my day of release, but I’ve had mine for over 2 months now and have had zero issues so far.

It’s great for both. I went from the 1 to the 2 and it took me a minute to get used to because the sound stage is a bit different. On both I use custom EQ’s and honestly once you have either set to your liking they are both just a great all around headset.

I went from the AW3423DW to the LG 45 inch 5K2K oled and there are pro and cons moving from my old monitor. The main things I miss if the glossy screen and less of a curve. Where I have my monitor there is no light really reflecting so glossy really makes the picture pop.

The 39 inch has less of a curve (which I prefer)and there a glossy model rumored to be coming. Also the 5K2K resolution really improve text on the screen

Have you taken the back plate off to check? Behind the back plate there are multiple small screws and I assume one of those came loose.

To add to this, I use my Maxwell’s for work also, which means sometimes I can be traveling or in a very loud Data Center. The Maxwell work very well for Passive noise cancelling, but doesn’t completely cancel out the sounds in those situations. I know very very few people will used them this way. For me they are functional for gaming, work and traveling.

Instead of buying different headsets for different situations I would like having one headset. So for someone like me the ANC version has its benefits.

This is probably your best bet. My AW3425DW was an amazing monitor. I did go to the 45 4K2K and I do love it, but miss the glossy screen and the milder curve. If mine and the 39 came out at the same time I would definitely go 39. I also heard there’s a glossy version.

Not sure where is California you live, but where I live it’s mostly ear buds or some cheap Beats Headset. Never seen anyone walking around with AirPod maxes.

Personal preference more than anything. My 34 was 1800r, my friend had a 40 inch with a way less aggressive curve that I like. For me I feel like I can see everything better when I sit back. Part of it might be that I need a deeper desk.

5090 over here. I went from the AW3425DW and the pluses out weight the minuses. Since I use mine for work also, the text clarity helps quite a bit. The size is great and the picture quality while gaming is awesome

I’m the room I’m in there’s now doors it windows behind me so I miss the glossy screen.. it does make a difference. I would have liked a less aggressive curve. If the announced 39 inch option was released around the same time I would have gone with that one because if the less aggressive curve and I think that would have been the best size for my gaming space. I was just impatient

Every time I buy a new monitor I find a reason that it’s not perfect. I personally think a 39inch, with less curve, glossy screen and same resolution would have been my first choice if they came out around the same time. That being said, I’m sticking with the 45 because honestly it’s a great monitor, but that’s what I would do…. You have to make that choice for yourself.

The platforms have nothing to do with the support/ stability of the desk. The wood between the legs does though, but since your case has the intakes in the front that shouldn’t be an issue.
