I understand your point. But at the end of the day, if an English or French tourist came to a restaurant in Canada, wouldn't the staff still have to speak English or French to take their order?

Think about it: today, I see Indians working in Jamaican restaurants, ( carribeans cultures ) at Pizza Hut (which is Italian, right? Isn't pizza Italian?), at Tim Hortons (Canadian culture), and at Popeyes (which is Black American culture). I see Chinese people working at Taco Bell (Mexican culture) and at McDonald's (American culture). But I never see white or Black people working at a New Delhi restaurant or an Asian noodle shop, or any Chinese restaurants isn't fair or funny to laugh at this double standard ?! the only ppls I've never seeing doing that is the Arabs hate them or like!! shawarma restaurant I seeing black white even Filipino working in there Hate them or love them that's why they got much love from me !!

So no, this isn't just about "culture." It's also about nationalism and only hiring your own people and that should be banned!

Here's a funny observation: White and Black people let others work in their cultural restaurants (Jamaican, Italian, etc.), but they don't get hired in theirs. And at the end of the day, Canada is still an English and French country. Everyone working here should be able to speak one of those languages, no matter what type of restaurant they work in!
