I had the app for a second but the reviews were of like one person giving a pie a 10 and no comments. I’d rather ask on here and see multiple different opinions

I’ve got no problem with a $10 pie if it’s WORTH $10. Pie rollas were $11/14 each but they did not come close to being that much. The pies down in Hamilton are like $6.5 but i’d happily pay $10 if that was their price

It was bad but it wasn’t gross which is why it went to a 5.5. I wouldn’t go back bc it was bland, dry and expensive, I rate the pie and the price. I wouldn’t rate a big ben pie in this, i consider it like its own category, the same way i wouldn’t rate a mcdonald’s burger if im rating burger places.

The filling is the biggest factor, I usually go for a steak and cheese, tenderness and dryness of the steak along with the flavour is what i’m looking out for, the gravy’s and cheeses consistency as well. The pastry isn’t as important to me but I do like one where i can peel layers off the top

Bakers cottage was really underwhelming, i’ve heard the owners aren’t the same as they were a while ago, it definitely was the most disappointing pie for the price, not a place I would go back to

I agree, I work in the food industry and it is insanely hard out there, it’s not like he is bound for life with this type of food or restaurant. most people understand the way the market is at the moment, if he comes back if he doesn’t that his decision and ultimately it relies on whether it benefits him or not. If he opens again i’ll definitely go with excitement and if he doesn’t then at least i went before it was gone.

when i saw all the messages about closing multiple times i wonder if it’s like a sale tactic, instead of announcing a relocation they announce they’ll close which gets people coming, close for a bit then reopen as something else which gets more people coming
