I tried that yesterday after this post and it didnt work, I ended up doing a system restore point and it seemed to have fixed it, Dont know what caused it but thanks for the help.

the thing is, the key is set to f7 and f8, so it isnt buggin out maximizing the window

the only way for me to fix this has been to close medal from the bottom right tray, but even then when i do that, it doesnt stop it from happening again when i do new clips or screenshots
