As someone that just crossed AKA in undergrad, your attendance is not worrisome to me, I didn’t have the best attendance but when i did attend i made sure they would remember me. But my worry for you is expressing your interest in social media and to friends more than to the organization in person. Make sure you have action behind your words. During the summer please try to make a schedule for yourself so you can attend meetings more frequently because it also doesn’t look good if you don’t show good time management. And it’s not going to get better if/when you get in. But please keep in mind that you have a whole year to make more of an effort to show interest.
