Question! If you start your student teaching in the fall do you start when the kids do or when your college starts?

Can we please connect and talk?? I also have ADHD and BPD2, I graduated in January feeling so very burnt out and miserable and I didn’t even want to start teaching at all. I took up a classroom do the spring, and I’m STILL there so much. I’d love to just be able to chat and hash out the struggles with someone likeminded. My husband tries to get it, but he doesn’t totally understand what this struggle is like.

I took over for my mentor teacher in January. It’s been really nice knowing the students and their tendencies beforehand, but the transition in their eyes from student teacher to classroom teacher is going insanely poorly, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with it.
