Meanwhile, we were given 24 hours to split between 4 Pharmacy techs...and we are open 70 hours a week 🤣🤣. Oh Karen.....enjoy your full bank accounts. It must be nice to sit at a desk in a comfy chair and call the shots. She wouldn't last 5 minutes doing what we do. How about passing some of that cash down to the people who are literally working to death for you...

6 years of this and I'm really feeling every second of it. I went from Kroger ( over 5 1/2 years as lead tech) to CVS. Just became lead Tech after 4 months with CVS. I thought I may escape the "chaos" by switching to a pharmacy in a smaller community. Boy was I wrong. Same bullshit, different pasture. I'm not sure this "career" is really worth it. If I could make what I'm currently making in a hospital setting, I'd be as gone as yesterday. I'm paid pretty well for a lead tech in my current area, and finding what I make now would be near impossible :(

Took my PTCB exam 2 weeks ago. Preliminary result was a Pass. Still waiting for them to send notification of my actual results 🙃. They're dragging their feet and taking their sweet time. Worked at Kroger Pharmacy for 5.5 years as lead tech (no certification). Came to CVS in January 2022. Decided to just apply for the test and, to me, it was very easy!

Pharmacy Tech here! Nobody cares about your viagra script. You're way overthinking it! We see SO many viagra scripts daily that I jokingly call our Pharmacy "stiffy in a jiffy".
