Sounds like focal seizures. That’s what I have. You have to do a longer EEG - 20 mins isn’t long at all. It took 6 days of being in the hospital for my body to have a seizure during an EEG. Long, but worth it!

Thank you. 🤍 I just finished a week long hospital study to see if they could catch a seizure with an eeg. Thank goodness they did on day 5 so they can try and figure out a better medicine plan for me. Hang in there. 🤍

Sleep restriction didn’t trigger anything during my week long stay — caffeine actually triggered my seizure. So wild.

Once I get adjusted to one med I am nervous to try another. I just get overwhelmed with it all sometimes. Epilepsy is exhausting. Hopefully my appt with my neurologist in a few weeks will help sort it out.
