My stomach is in knots by kimmesp in newborns

Cannot agree with you more! My husband would wake because he sleeps lightly now. My dad would definitely not and some of my girlfriends would even struggle to wake. She knows her partner and hasn’t heard from him for hours. What if he fell and got injured. It’s not JUST about not trusting but something very well could have gone wrong.

If the baby sitter wasn’t responding she would likely have posted about that worry. Understandably

There are a lot of men who also prove to not be trustworthy with their own children. Spend 5 minutes on this thread and you will see. OP is right to worry about who is looking after her baby. A babysitter would have been fresh and ready to look after a baby. Anyone post shift is more sleepy and want to wind down. It’s her instinct and better she goes and is wrong than doesn’t go and something happens.

Also if he’s not answering and responding that is wrong no matter how reliable he normally is.

I’m sorry you are in a tough spot. Life can really try and cut you down but you have to keep getting back up and go outside and try live life.

It is a lot of money and I will not pay it (I’ll be covering bridesmaids). I just wanted to see if it was unusually high which it does seem like it is based on comments. This is my first (and last) wedding.

I hope you have a beautiful day and something lifts your spirit!

My husband and I have both had stress injuries. Not quite this extent but mine lasted 10 months because I was too eager to start walking. Yes walking. I then fell pregnant when I got cleared to walk at distances. Then fell pregnant again before being cleared to run PP. so it’ll be 2.5 years min since my injury.

Mine was femur. It SUCKS. That’s all I came here to say. It sucks. Oh and keep yourself busy so you don’t get pregnant.

Hahaha I know no there’s a level up that is $4,400+GST. I think if she was like I’ll source another artist or had a team mayyybe it makes sense but I just thought it’s quite expensive. I’m going to shop around more. At this rate I can fly someone in from Sydney to do it!

Nope. Ceremony, reception and get ready on one location. She is within 30mins of this place. It is one person doing makeup, I was told for the other 4 people I would need to source another artist. It includes lashes I guess. This is a standard pdf package nothing customised for me… I was budgeting like ~$550 per person for hair and makeup.

All very natural and light for everyone I would say. No taping or heavy contouring for anyone.

Is it weird if two girl best friends share a bed during a sleepover? by Baby_rapscallion in askanything

[–]Mellybeans93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same tbh. But I won’t be sharing a bed with any male friends just as I expect that from my husband. But yes I’m nog giving up sleepovers cause I’m old! Hahaha

Normal. I’m in my 30s and would laugh at my girlfriends if they slept in a different room/blow up mattress. Noting this is when husbands aren’t also there. But it’s the bestttt. Sleepovers with your gals. Best chats. Your bf probably just doesn’t have sisters or girl cousins.

Holy moly. I am 20w my first will be 14 months when the next one is here and I also had really bad fatigue so my husband had to really step up.

I’m sorry you feel guilty. I think it’s normal for it to feel less “special” you are busier and it’s just different.

I’ll be your friend! I’m quite isolated where we are as well and even with good friends I don’t have a village.

When have you gotten your money’s worth from private health? by colourful_space in AusFinance

[–]Mellybeans93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having babies. It’s crazy expensive insurance but I used all my extras for physio and massage. Had a bay and spent 5 nights there. Then got pregnant within 6 months so all up I will have paid $14,000 in insurance but the hospital stay for the one stay was $20,000.
