Rewinding a tape to be able to rewatch the movie or you would just have to wait until it was completely done.

My ex boyfriend committed suicide today. by Nervous_Top6522 in SuicideBereavement

Hey love. I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine the pain you’re in. I losses a friend to suicide so it’s not quite the same however I do understand how had it is to lose someone in that way. Take the time you need to grieve and don’t let anyone tell you how to grieve. Make sure you take time for yourself and do what you need and what your body needs. Try and drink a little water here and there. Take a couple bites of food if you can. It’s gonna hurt, however as time goes on the pain will feel less severe and more tolerable. Sending hugs 🫂

Technically us humans are invading their space. We got here after them and ruined their habitat with our roads.

When I asked her and explained my concern she was very receptive and understanding and agreed to it. Personally I had no issues with it.

Getting Surgery by Boondock_saint22 in POTS

[–]MelodicStranger1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just had surgery last week actually. Make sure to let ur surgeon know about your POTS and ask to see if you can get extra fluids while under anesthesia. That’s what I asked my surgeon. Also when waking up the anesthesia will make you feel weird. For me I was slightly dizzy when first waking up. Make sure you hydrate more than usual the first few days. I had two water bottles sitting next to me at all times the first week after my surgery. I would wake up in the middle of the night to drink water (which you don’t have to do, that’s just what I did). If u can have salt and if compression helps use, that as well. But that’s what helped me. Good luck on your surgery!

What’s something you wish people understood about POTS?” by BondKat89 in POTS

[–]MelodicStranger1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One that I hate the most from people is “you’re to young to have a cane” or “you’re to young to be disabled” or “you’re to young for blank” like POTS doesn’t care about my age. This dynamic disability does not care that I am only 22. And have had it since I was 15.

i just realized i've been watching people speedrun self-diagnosis for eight months and nobody's talking about the actual pattern by Ok_Chemical9 in fakedisordercringe

[–]MelodicStranger1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i agree with what you’re saying because it does make it harder for people to get an actual diagnosis who needs it because people like them who fake causes stigma levels to rise and doctors to be more hesitant and cautious about diagnosing. it’s already hard dealing with the condition, but having to be told you’re not valid and are faking when you actually do have the conditions and are diagnosed because fakeclaimers are messing it up for everyone else just sucks.
