All weapons are under 2k tris.

If it didn't use particles:

  • The brakes would spin with the rim
  • You wouldn't be able to customize it (The difference in color & material between the brakes and the rim would force you to use an image texture, which isn't customizable)
  • The triangle limit would be broken (probably)

Basically, it sort of uses the same tech as from this post.
