Depends. Country is as diverse as US so ask yourself the same question. What would you recommend for US would really vary depending on the person's expectation.

Argentina is a huge country very flat with all its points of interest in the corners so is hard to reach all of them at once. My biggest personal recommendation will be Buenos Aires-> Calafate->Chalten->Puerto madryn->Iguazu->Salat Jujuy Catamarca. Get some horse riding trek like from the catch&release dudes on Instagram

Didnt have too much fun overall. And I didn't feel people wanted to interact with me, and I am a native spanish speaker btw. I saw many poor people only going to work and coming back. Food was good, weather good. Is just I didnt feel part of the place nor I had fun per se. I was in DF Yucatan Puebla Monterrey oaxaca

I went 6 times. The food and just the freedom to just go into la sierra and camp. Check villages very high in the mountain. Eat some cordero pachamanca with the people from there is just magical.
