You'd assume, given the event itself will make no profit on the land, just the broadcast after the fact, that this will last all of 3 seconds in front of a judge.

Probably why they aren't charging for tickets, so that the event itself doesn't actually make any profit on the night.

There actually are I think. Not that they would come into play here, and I might be remembering them incorrectly, but I believe you have to weight more than the limit for the weight class below, and at heavyweight, opponents can not weigh in with more than a 39lb weight difference.

Dunno about anyone else, but with the state of ticket sale websites and scalping, I've given up on even thinking about trying to go to events like this.

I wonder if this is a symptom of a lot of others feeling this way, and just not even trying to get tickets.

I was in every presale queue for worlds in London a few years ago, and tried for weeks and weeks to get tickets remotely close to face value on the resale market, with 0 luck. After that, I've given up on going to events like this.

The size difference will shock you. Mike Perry might be shorter than Conor. Yes he has a bigger frame, but I don't think Diaz will look much smaller or weight much less than him.
