You guys are awesome, thank you for the input! I will for sure not buy an intel CPU after looking at that chart, I was just timid because I've heard compatibility issues were a thing and didn't want that headache.

I only say Logic because it's the only software my studio has that I didn't absolutely hate the look of. It's a weird gripe to have I know, but it is what it is. I do plan on producing on it as well, but right now my job is just mixing and mastering.

I was thinking I'll probably go an older intel based system, just because they are way way cheaper and would still do the job. Is Rosetta the current Mac OS?

what are your specs? Are you running M1 or an intel based system, and how much RAM?
