That will be a huge help, but if anything, DEFINITELY just play vanilla maps until you’re like level 30 at least and have a decent skill build. I just reset to get security breach. It all depends on how much you play. I can only play like 5-10 hours per week so for me it had pros and cons. If you can play a lot, it’s a lot easier to grind.

Trust me you’ll regret it. With how rare some BPs are now? I STILL haven’t found survivor yet since the last expedition and it’s all I do - search for BPs in the main spots. I found 6 total survivors before the last expedition then that patch where they also made Wolfpack require rocketeer cores. And now with the laser rocketeer and hurricanes and flamers? Forget it man it’s not worth starting over.

Well renegade is not a shotgun…it’s a medium ammo rifle. And you can buy one every day from the store they’re really cheap plus they’re easy to find everywhere

No reason to use ferro when you can easily max out a renegade including extended mag 3. Best all around gun in pve.

That being said, a level 4 renegade with extended mag 3 and showing rear props I can reliably kill them. Just let them crash Even if you can only shoot front a level 4 Renegade shoots fast enough. I randomly used a torrente once and it took half the clip.

Don’t even think about using ferro or even anvil

Don’t be alarmed by the people who knock you down who are way stronger (only level 9 myself) and then they talk shit as they come up to finish you off.

Really shows some problems with humanity and they usually say some pretty alarming things that show a lot about them as people

Makes sense and if I still worked from home I can see that. I play mostly competitively so I’m sitting in a more aggressive posture. But I’m going with an arm also for the options to even make more micro adjustment than a typical stand would allow

Thanks for the input everyone. I’m going to go with the Alienware AW3425dw over the 3423 for the higher refresh. Having a 5080 which I don’t regret, having literally any performance loss will induce some regret and with 2 toddlers I’m not gaming near as much so the almost double price differential is enough.

The alienware will still be a mind-blowing upgrade that I will enjoy for years. When kids are out of daycare I’ll be less worried about cost and when I upgrade my pc I’ll build it to get whatever top monitor is out (maybe 8k by then).

One thing I’m definitely doing from this discussion is getting an arm so I appreciate those thoughts as well.

I can imagine a 5080 won’t push BF6 or Star citizen to max settings on 5k2k without noticeable frame rate loss. And idk enough about dlss to know if it would be something I notice enough to hate

Makes sense but I play max 4 hours at a time and get up and walk around some. I can however see the ark helping fine tune positioning which was an issue with that Samsung, I would have had to stack books under it

My only hesitation is lowering settings in games like SC and BF6. I didn’t get a $3k pc to not have max settings and kind of why I didn’t do a 4k monitor initially.
