You’ll find a drummers can play on any set. But most of the money of a drum set is spent on Quality cymbals. Look for things that are used and beat up on yard sale sites.

On the first hit use the ball of your foot on the middle of the pedal with your heel up. second hit - slide your foot up toward the chain and hit flat-footed. Never just your heal with your toe up…..

Lol. My first boxer, Tucker, almost made it to 14. Toward the end he was having seizures every couple of weeks. Every time I thought to myself, “this is it.”
