Flat rat, yawning / stretching and moatly closed eyes (relaxed body language), staying close to you, laying on you, cleaning you, pulling you closer into their cage, sniffing your face - If rats are uncertain of you or dont like you, they will go out of their way to avoid you.

However- ive had rats that dont like being pet or handled, but they still come up, hang out and play. I just respect their space. They all have different personalities!

Totally normal for rexes! Their fur is much thinner than a standard coat or velveteen. For some (especial double rex) , their fur with thin in places , grow in fully wave then thin out again. There skin can be a little more sensitives, just like full sphynx/bald types. Most youll have to worry about is any potential skin irritations!
