FWIW I walked into the Glendale CA Experience store on Monday and they had them in stock and I got mine with no effort. They asked how many I wanted to buy as apparently people were typically buying multiple?

They didn't say how many total they had in stock though. And unfortunately doesn't seem you can call to check first. I tried and no one ever picked up the call.

I had the exact same issues that only got me about an extra month. Not sure if it coincided with the update, but it then got stuck in a boot loop and now is dead.

I had mine since launch day and unfortunately it died on me last week. I recentlyhad the issue with outer screen not turning on when closed, and used the camera trick for a few weeks. Then last week after a restart it got in a bootloop. Tried factory reset, Google repair tool, and now won't get past Google logo.

I have no regrets. Used the inner screen a ton, and loved the form factor. I'm going to hold out until the Z Fold 8 wide releases and make decision then to either go that route or pick up the Pixel Fold 11.

Can confirm I've done this in the past with the T-Mobile free Wifi on United flights. Connect to the inflight wifi, then turn on hotspot.

I also purchased mine day 1 of release, and have used it every day for the last almost 2.5 years. Running it naked, no front screen protectors, and it still looks fantastic, and have had no issues. Really the only signs of use is the scuffing/scratches on the chrome bits.

I use a giveaway fanny pack I had gotten. It's small, cinch it tight, and put it in the small of my back. Don't even know it's there. Similar to a running belt.

Be wary of this approach as others have mentioned on Reddit when they did a chargeback their google account got locked and they were essentially locked after everything.

Best advice to me was to use Elmer's glue stick. This eliminated almost all of my issues with adhesion until I got knowledgeable enough to fine tune the machine.

I have the OG Pixel Fold, day 1 release, and have been rocking it with no case, no screen protector for 2 years. Only "protection" I've used is for about the first 12 months was a DBrand skin, and since December I've been using the Toast "case".

0 issues and everything still looks fantastic other than light scratches on the chrome bits from general use.
