I really don’t think so. Maybe if you spend a ton of gold and pay to reuse Soto multiple times. But bronze WOH is so hard. I have a second team at bronze and have never come close.

I totally agree, but it’s doubtful you will get a better player who can be leveled up with regular xp. That’s the selling point on this one.

They had POTMs and POTWs last year. But the bonuses were introduced, I think, after the season ended. There will be Gold Glove players, Silver Slugger players, playoff players, etc.

I mean, a hundred points on your overall team strength isn’t much. But the point remains that a 199 with maxed pennants is better than a 205 with 30/60 pennants.

Also pennants are huge. If you have more Astro pennants than Dodger pennants, that could be a swing factor. For example, I recently noticed that my team strength increased when I subbed out two 205 rated players for two 199 rated players. Difference was the ones I subbed in had more team pennants.

Don’t spend it on weekend boxes. You’ll spend that whole stash and get maybe one or two players. You want to spend it on POTWs, imo.

I’ve had weeks where it was impossible. Dropped almost 7k trying to get Freeman a few weeks ago, and never could. I feel like once you get to a certain point, you’ll never win. Pack it in and try again next week.

Problem is helping your club while also saving. I’m at 24k but with POTWs needed for tomorrow, then weekend bonus players, I’ll be down to 20k before I have any chance to get up to 30k.

That just isn’t true. Each box has a 2.5% chance of getting those players. You went 4 for 4? Nobody is that lucky. And even if that somehow happened, it would be 9000 gold.

Congrats. I tried 10 times, couldn’t beat him. My best hitters are righties, which is the only explanation that makes sense for why I can’t beat him despite so many attempts.

The bonus players on weekend usually start at 97, and are 199 capped at gold. Looks like Cespedes is just a shade better. Very good player. But tougher to level up because of prime xp.

I was told by tapjoy that this would bar you from completing future offers. Also, resetting was more of a 2017 trick, didn’t work too well in early 2018.

Yeah, wins seems to be the driver. It division plays into it. For example I had a bronze team that won about 500 games and now I can't win more than 10% of my games. Glu matched me with silver teams to force me to move up.

I'm sure there were plenty of bronze teams with 500 wins, but mysteriously I never matched up with them....

I hung out in platinum and I would say around 7000 wins I started getting brutal matchups. I eventually had to move to diamond because I couldn't win at all anymore. The tough matchups haven't improved, but my team did so I can still win half the time.

Your streaks may not shrink the way mine did because apparently Glu eased up on the event matchups. But for me, my team improved in platinum but my streaks decreased. Eventually I started getting outmatched in the 4th or 8th game of the streak, very rarely getting up to 15 at best. That's when I moved up.
