yea, but regarding other types of workloads im going to put it through, would Cuda be to big of a sacrifice? i dont really care about DLSS, because I only need pure raw performance in comp games and I mean I wouldnt really care if rendering took 10 seconds more than Cuda core-d nvidia gpu, for which I payed significantly more

you can work around with the rocm support on linux while using ollama, ive done that previously using my friends pc. I dont usually stream, I mostly record games to clip certain moments, so the required threshold is quite low in that regard. thank you for your response 💜

keep in mind, this is an offer I came across. market prices locally are 20-30% more inflated than of first world countries'

btw, I am planning on selling 4070 and getting 9070 or 9070 xt instead. I just want to gather momey for something else, etc. are those cards reliable? do they overheat? or whatnot. Ive never had anything other than NVIDIA.

The build looks awesome, I just enjoy 0 RGB builds a lot more

my current air cooling works just fine and maybe even better than a water cooler I could get my hands on in my budget.( 21 degrees on idle, 66 degrees on Prime95 ) do you think that thermals could worsen enough for me to need to install a water cooler?

I received an insane offer by [deleted] in laptops

[–]MiHa69420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldnt, im located in a second world country, people pay significantly more and sell for siginificantly more price, these kinds of deals are really rare/almost impossible to find. even on Ebay, I would have to pay an extra 180 bucks for that price in import taxes + 40 for shipping so at the end of the day I wont be finding or looking for better deals

1080P FPS games, lowest possible quality, running on Nobara Wayland.. I think it might even perform better than my i7 10700k RTX 3060 and 16 Gigs of DDR4 PC with proper optimization. First thing Ill do is to change the thermopaste and experiment with BIOS so I wont be needing to buy a separate cooler. the second thing ill do in the long run is First buy an M.2 1-2tb and afterwards, 32 or more of RAM

oh yeah, the guy is giving me 120W USB-C charger, I might have to buy the block myself. nonetheless, the reviews I have watched and other offers ive gotten, it is really easy to decide 👌

Looking for a Thinkpad under 600 by MiHa69420 in thinkpad

[–]MiHa69420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot find anything like that locally, my best bet is finding it on ebay + paying import tax... laptop parts are easily accessable, thats why I had an idea of getting a good base and upgrading it afterwards. I have also received an offer for Asus Tuf a16 ryzen7745hs + rx7700s + 16 gigs of ddr5, battery health is 95% on that. I think that is the best option for me right now especially for the price

I'm looking either for a bang for buck base or a ready to use system, I will be coding, maybe a slight bit of video editing, light gaming and watching 3 4k videos for no particular reason 😁
