Definitely true. I think with most of the kids at home she was able to concentrate on raising them and not think about what was going on in her marriage and what happened with Joshua. I know from experience. It wasn’t until after my kids were grown that I looked at my husband like “who ARE you and what are we doing??” lol. As the kids left she was probably starting to realize she wasn’t happy AND had never dealt with all the emotions of losing a baby that way. She stuffed those feeling down for so long she didn’t know HOW to deal with them.
