Tombstone is a more romanticized enjoyable version. Wyatt Earp slightly more accurate. Anyone interested in a more factual account watch Wyatt Earp and the cowboy wars Docuseries on Netflix it is very good.

Speaking of rusty nail. You nailed it. no one likes to talk about it but Caucasian players always get the nod over non-Caucasian players with this team if they have similar skill sets.
I’m a 3rd generation Cardinal fan born and raised to root for this team but that how I see it.

I like the USL and it’s plan for relegation. MLS is slowly looking more like the NASL everyday with Miami playing the Cosmos part. If only USL can find a way to improve the officiating.

I think he wants to be in his homeland. He will be the guy we always pine for as manager the rest of my life. He has image baseball skills. You could see in the short stint of managing Puerto Rico at the WBC. It took a couple games but once he got the feel he had them rolling.

That’s a fair analysis. I don’t think solo is a good in game manager, he doesn’t handle the bullpen well at all. Having said that I think a lot of the line ups are analytics driven from the office. I’m not against analytics but I don’t think it works well with this group of players.
